I love Forward Hair Lab! My stylist Lisa did a FaceTime consultation since I live 2 hours away. That was a first for me-so happy she took the time to know what I wanted before the actual appointment!

I love my hair. Its what I have always wanted. Lisa asked and listened to my hair journey and I could not be happier with the results. She also recommended quality products for at home use and how to use them correctly.

I have been driving to Memphis area for my hair and I felt like my old stylist wasn’t listening to me and was always always late.

Since I was driving so far I thought my last stylist would get the hint and at least let me know he was running late. Nope.

I started seeing Lisa 6 years ago when I moved to Collierville. She is the best colorist I've ever seen. I’ve had several health problems that affected my hair ( illnesses, menopause, stress etc. She worked very hard to keep my hair looking good and feeling good. I have been wanting to try blonde hair for almost 10 years. When I met Kelsey at Forward Hair Lab for my consultation and told her what I wanted she really made me feel that she was totally up for the challenge and she was the 1st stylist I trusted to get me to the hair I have wanted for so long. She told me the amount of time it would take, which was expected with how big of a change it would be.

It took 2 and a half days. She was a joy to talk to, she gave me a heads up on what she was doing at each step, she stayed focused and was always checking the work. There were snacks and drinks and good music. She always checked on how I was doing, she showed me what I needed to keep my hair healthy throughout the process, and how to do some fun styles.

I have lived in the area since 2019 and I have finally found someone I want to schedule all my hair appointments with. I like to try all different kinds of haircuts and in the future will try bangs and I totally trust her!...more

I love going to The Forward Hair Lab. Katie Devine has actually been my stylist even before she started here. She’s actually been doing my hair for the last 10 years now. After every visit to her I’m always asked “Where do I go & who does it?” She’s a genius when it comes to color.

The owner Lisa Forward McKenzie is also a very good stylist & a wiz at color as well & I’ve also known her for 10 years. They’re both concerned with fulfilling the client’s needs & beyond fulfilling their expectations.

The Forward Hair Lab itself is a cozy little shop with just 2 stations, 2 shampoo bowls, & 2 dryers and I really do love that about it as well !! It’s a very quiet and relaxed setting. 😊...more
